On September 24, 2026, Venerable Bishop Fulton Sheen will be beatified, a milestone long anticipated by the Church in America, and one that invites us to reflect anew on his extraordinary life, witness and enduring relevance.

We invite you to a Fall 5-week series entitled Lunches with Sheen. Each session would feature a 20-minute reflection followed by a 20-minute facilitated discussion on Sheen’s story, legacy and continued relevance. These talks will take place at the library at Immaculate Conception Seminary/School of Theology at 1:15 p.m. on Thursdays, beginning on the very day of the beatification and running weekly through October.

October 1: Fulton Sheen the Communicator - Professor John Radwan
As chair of our University’s Communications Department, Professor Radwan bears the expertise needed to illuminate what made Sheen such a singularly effective and innovative communicator, on radio, television and in the public square.
