Releasing the DOVEs Philadelphia Mission (October)

APPLY HERE: Releasing the DOVEs Philly Mission
Kick off this academic year with a weekend of service, community, and reflection in partnership with the St. Francis Inn, a Franciscan ministry serving the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia.

For more than 20 years, Seton Hall students have participated in this long-standing DOVE tradition, with over 250 Pirates serving alongside the St. Francis Inn community. Throughout the weekend, participants will prepare and serve meals, extend hospitality to guests, and build meaningful relationships while learning about issues of poverty, social justice, and solidarity.

More than a volunteer experience, this mission invites students to live simply in community through shared meals, prayer, reflection, and service. Participants will stay at St. Francis Inn, explore Philadelphia together, and take time each day to reflect on their experiences as a group.

Mission Details

• Dates: October 2–4
• Departure: Friday at 7:00 a.m.
