Program Description: Seton Stories is a reading and interactive story-time program at the South Orange Library hosted by DOVE volunteers. Seton Hall students provide local children with an interactive and enthusiastic literacy environment by singing songs, reading books and engage in arts and crafts to small groups of kids.

Once registered, students will receive a reminder 24-48 hours before the event outlining any additional information needed.

DOVE Transportation: The event timing and volunteer hours outlines the time volunteers will leave campus and the time volunteers will return to campus. Volunteers will meet the DOVE van on Seton Hall's campus Green between the University Center and Boland Hall (across from the cafeteria entrance). As part of DOVE's policy students must all leave and return to campus together unless given special permission to do otherwise.

DOVE Volunteer Absentee Policy:  The success of every DOVE program depends on volunteers showing up.  If you are signed up for a program and cannot attend, it is your responsibility to unregister within 2 days of the event. This will open up your spot to the next available volunteer. In case of an emergency volunteers must give their program coordinator 24-hour notice.  Any volunteer who misses THREE volunteer programs without notice will no longer be able to continue volunteering with DOVE.  Additionally, DOVE will not be able to verify or sign off on any completed volunteer hours for students that miss three programs.
